Shishi is a self taught and multidisciplinary artist who enjoys crafting and creating things by hand. Her universe is rooted in the art of drawing, which she practices since she was a child. From there, a common thread unfolds : after experimenting with sewing, embroidering, crochet and punch needling, Shishi joins the act of drawing and creating larger patterns with tufting. The meticulousness and attention to details that she acquired by working with threads and needles can be found in the delicate finishes of her creations. Shishi mixes traditional, tribal and floral patterns and injects life to her work with the vivid colors she uses.
